Dear RPM Fusion developers, ffmpeg-0.11 was released a few days ago. Do you think we should try to push it to Fedora 17?

That's because it will be easier for a maintainer to enable the unpushed 'plague result' repository that is already referenced in the mock-rpmfusion_free configuration files, instead of adding various alternate repository. Also It will also to build a first level dependency (such as libquicktime) there and allow the local test of a second level dependency then. Now I will be away this week-end and busy next week, so I would prefer to schedule the update starting from the next week-end. Does that sounds good ? Nicolas (kwizart)

You can eventually commit some fix but not submit a build job yet.

Just to certify that I'm not wrong , we should use bootstrap option ? since we bump x264 from 0.120 to 0.124, we should built it with bootstrap option and wait for ffmpeg rebuild and after that we remove bootstrap option to enable x264 build with libavformat (which depends on ffmpeg) and gpac, right ? All this KDE stuff just needs ANY Phonon backend to build (strictly speaking, a backend isn't needed to build at all, but the Phonon library is and Phonon depends on a backend so that it works out of the box) and VLC keeps being broken every so often, so it'd be better to just pull in phonon-backend-gstreamer from Fedora.
