Who takes care of mencoder, which afaik is a subpackage of mplayer, which you co-maintain these days afaics. Just wondering, because there is no "I will handle" there in above list. The three gstreamer packages we have were build and pushed earlier today.

Please let me know when you folks are planning to do this. I need to update the desktop files of certain multimedia applications to comply with the FedoraStudio feature of Fedora 12, which I announced here a couple weeks ago.

F-12 release is 4 weeks from now. I don't think it's too late for a mass rebuild.

That said, since I have never done a mass rebuild myself, this is nothing but a guess. I don't want to speak for people who would do the actual work.

I will finish the FedoraStudio work before the end of this Sunday. It's nothing big. I just need to add categories to some desktop files. But I would like to know: shall I make new builds or just commit to cvs?
