this OpenShot Library (libopenshot) is what to openshot 1.4.3 ? couldn't be add to the same package (openshot) ?

No, the current openshot is quite old and pretty much purely python based with a dependence on mlt. libopenshot (and libopenshot-audio) replace the dependence on mlt which had issues and are C (C++?) based. Hi Richard , I'm going enter in vacations today, doesn't mean that I haven't internet. Would we sponsor Jonathan Thomas to add this packages to RpmFusion ? Hi Jonathan Thomas, and new eventual OpenShot 2.0 will have it too? if not so what use libopenshot ? I am not currently a sponsor so if you can take that on that would be great. The other option is for me to take over the package (as I maintain the current OpenShot) and for you to do the review, that way Jonathan can concentrate on programming without having to worry about maintaining the packages :)

Yes, both libopenshot and libopenshot-audio are dependencies for OpenShot 2.0 so it would be nice to get these done sooner rather than later.

That is the main reason I would love to see it included in RPM Fusion. I am already getting emails from Fedora users that want to try out the Python video editing features, but have no idea on how to manually compile it. Thus, a pre-built package for Fedora would be great. =) Also, libopenshot-audio is really not part of libopenshot, but rather source code from the JUCE project (http://www.juce.com/), which is why it's licensed differently and is a separate release. It is basically a wrapped up version of JUCE that exposes lots of audio playback and editing capabilities.
