RPM Fusion did not announce it beforehand(¹), but RPM Fusion for
Fedora 8 is now "End of Life" as well.

The same holds true for the RPM Fusion repositories for Fedora 9.
IOW: RPM Fusion in general will support its main repositories for Fedora
and RHEL for the same time as the distribution the packages in the repos
get build for are maintained by Fedora/RHEL. Hence RPM Fusion for Fedora
8 is EOL now as Fedora 8 is EOL now.

(¹) in fact we iirc didn't even discuss when to EOL until a few days ago
