As I posted on rpmfusion-users, gst-ffmpeg 0.10.12 is out and it
requires the new ABI FFmpeg/Libav libs.
Do you have plans to update it for F15? For F16 at least we should be
testing it.

I'm curious about what one RPM Fusion will be packing when gst-ffmpeg
0.10.12 is relesead. Upstream GStreamer, starting with gst-ffmpeg
0.10.12, will recommend (and support) only Libav [1]. Also, there's
the ABI/API incompatibility between FFmpeg 0.6/0.7-oldabi/Libav 0.6
and Libav 0.7/FFmpeg 0.8.
gst-ffmpeg 0.10.12 will work only with the new ABI [2]. VLC supports
the new ABI in the 1.2.0-dev code only, I think.
Since the libraries SONAME got bumped in the new ABI code, I see the
only solution is to have both, until all programs that depends on
libav* are updated.
BTW, it would be cool have gst-ffmpeg 0.10.12 + new ffmpeg/libav into
F15, because the multithreading stuff.
IIRC ffmpeg 0.7 oldabi already has multithreading.
But Anyway, this only matters for f16 givent that gstreamer might only
be updated to 0.12 there.
