This is my first RPM Fusion package, however I am a Fedora sponsored packager.
These packages contain the userland bits for OpenAFS which depends on a 3rd
party kernel module.

Library issues: If we need to find/open a bug with the OpenAFS's bugtracker we
can, but I don't think it wise to make API/ABI chages only in the version
supplied by rpmfusion.

/var/cache/openafs

Documentation provided in parent package. The cache directory must only be

Keep in mind there aren't very many sponsors in Fedora proper, and even fewer
in RPMFusion. I (or someone else who is not a sponsor) could do an unofficial
review, but you need a full review from a sponsor (and her approval) in order
to get your package into RPMFusion.

I'm willing to take a look at this and have a kmod package myself prepared (but
not submitted for review yet) that could need a review in exachange. But I have
a hard time finding time for RPM Fusion currently; I might be able to find time

The 1.4.x series is the current stable series for *nix variants. The 1.5.x
series is the development series which will lead to the next stable series:
1.6.x.
1.4.11 is the latest stable release.

and not system libraries.

/usr/share/doc/openafs-1.4.11/LICENSE is provided by the main package. Does it
need to be included in all the sub packages?
I do adjust it to be UTF-8 encoded. Otherwise this generates an rpmlint
warning.
- Please fix the knewn rpmlint issues.
The libraries call exit(). I can't fix this because I believe it will cause
more confusion and breakage than leaving it as is. This will have to be
handled upstream.

Issues with /var/cache/openafs are no longer relevant. The package is
configured to use the memcache option so the on disk cache directory is not
needed and has been removed.

Its com_err cruft. OpenAFS has its own, custom (works on Windows)
implementation of libcom_err and attempts to install compile_et where it
conflicts with the system version from e2fsprogs. The OpenAFS version isn't
needed past compile time so I remove it.

properly installed save for the DCE integration bits. (IBM's Distributed
Computing Environment.)

I've clarified the comment in the spec file for this.

Being that OpenAFS's internal libcom_err implementation is custom, I cannot
remove it. The man page for the command confirms its used at build time only.

I have saw the following in your package:
Group: Development/Libraries
Requires: openafs = %{epoch}:%{version}-%{release}
Requires(post): /sbin/ldconfig
Because Epack is not a valid tag for packages in Fedora/Rpmfusion, it may be
nice, if you can remove the %{epoch} macro from your package.
