Description: Flowblade Movie Editor is a multitrack non-linear video editor for
Linux
released under GPL 3 license.
Flowblade is designed to provide a fast, precise and as-simple-as-possible
editing experience.
Flowblade employs film style editing paradigm in which clips are usually
automatically placed tightly after the previous clip - or between two existing
clips - when they are inserted on the timeline. Edits are fine tuned by
trimming in and out points of clips, or by cutting and deleting parts of clips.
Film style editing is faster for creating programs with mostly straight cuts
and audio splits, but may be slower when programs contain complex composites
unless correct work flow is followed.

2 big issues
1- python setup.py install --root=%{buildroot}
--install-lib=/usr/share/pyshared --optimize=1
should be something simple like this:

2- flowblade.src:100: E: hardcoded-library-path in
/usr/lib/mime/packages/flowblade

Scriptlets for Desktop files and mimeinfo are correct but
/usr/lib/mime/packages/flowblade maybe should be in /usr/libexec/
3- Please could you comment explain what this do ?

1- Now to run flowblade, we need this patch, if no better alternative , please
add patch in flowblade.spec
2- Please build on %build and install on %install with:
%build
python setup.py build

python setup.py install --skip-build --root %{buildroot}
3- Still need improve locales, why you use :
%exclude %{python_sitelib}/Flowblade/locale ? , they aren't in package !
4- About /usr/libexec/flowblade file [1] , sorry, after analyze better it is a
mimetype with action !?! So maybe better is delete after the do setup.py
install , I don't know , for me still a mystery where put this file .
I think it all to accept the package

fix all perssions
Hi,
- Fix file permissions before and after build . :P
- Remove /usr/lib/mime/packages/flowblade file
- move .mo files to /usr/share/locale I copy scriplets from python-imdb.spec
And after applied this patch the package is approved !

I almost sure that we don't need gnome-python2-gnomevfs to run flowblade , so I
just dropped this note here, please remove [1] from spec.
gnome-python2-gnomevfs (all gnome-python2) could be retired soon from Fedora in
next releases, so we should try not use it.
Also dependencies doc [2] upstream, not mention python2-gnomevfs .

gnome-python2-gnomevfs (all gnome-python2) could be retired soon from Fedora in
next releases, so we should try not use it.
Also dependencies doc [2] upstream, not mention python2-gnomevfs .

Hello,
After getting your spec file (I am very interested in this package to land in
rpmfusion repository), I noticed that line:
for i in cs de es fi fr it; do
should maybe replaced with (on one line):
for i in $(ls -d %{buildroot}%{python_sitelib}/Flowblade/locale/*/LC_MESSAGES/
| sed 's/\(^.*locale\/\)\(.*\)\(\/LC_MESSAGES\/$\)/\2/') ; do
This new line will avoid maintaining the list of languages as new ones get
added in the sources package (usually useful with automated builds).
I've also made some adaptation in order to build the package from last git
sources and to be able to deal with multiple patches eventually (see spec file
attached).
Feel free to make any comment about this.
