Description: Barry is a desktop toolset for managing your BlackBerry(tm)
device. (BlackBerry is a registered trademark of Research in Motion Limited.)
I don't think this can be included in Fedora because RIM uses closed source
applications for their phones.
Output from rpmlint:
[Chris@localhost SPECS]$ rpmlint ../RPMS/i386/*
libbarry0.i386: W: devel-file-in-non-devel-package /usr/lib/libbarry.so
5 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 1 warnings.
I'm ignoring this warning because I believe the purpose of libbarry0 is to
create this shared library for the other applications.
This is my first RPM Fusion package as well as the first set of RPMs I've ever
built. Hence, I also need a sponsor. Thanks.
Chris

Did some bugzilla cleanups
by Thorsten Leemhuis
Hi!
Just fyi, I did some cleanups in bugzilla; if I did something wrong yell
and/or just reopen please.
Some things to note:
- There are a lot of packages awaiting review; see
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/showdependencytree.cgi?id=2&hide_resolved=1
for a list. I suppose those packagers that have packages in the review
queue try to get review exchanges organized; maybe via the wiki somehow?
- matthias seems to be the default owner for infrastructure bugs; Xavier
is doing most infr things these days, so that IMHO should be changed;
who has permissions to do that
- while at it: a lot of packages that are listed in owners.list are not
in the package list in bugzilla; how to we get that working?

[Bug 85] New: Review request: zfs-fuse - ZFS ported to Linux FUSE

ZFS is an advanced modern general-purpose filesystem from Sun
Microsystems, originally designed for Solaris/OpenSolaris.
This project is a port of ZFS to the FUSE framework for the Linux
operating system.
The package is submitted to Fedora but is pending legal review.

zfs-fuse.i386: W: incoherent-subsys /etc/rc.d/init.d/zfs-fuse $prog
1 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 1 warnings.
The one warning above is caused by the init script using the '$prog' variable
for the application name, and can be ignored.
This is my first RPMFusion package.

[Bug 50] New: Review Request/FTBFS: DVDStyler - Cross-platform DVD authoring application

SPEC: http://downloads.diffingo.com/rpmfusion/dvdstyler.spec
Description:
DVDStyler is a cross-platform DVD menu creation GUI that allows
creation of DVD navigation menus similar to those found on most
commercial DVD's. It leverages various other open source video
rendering programs to produce the final DVD menu navigation system.
dvdstyler requires a wxsvg with ffmpeg enabled, so I've packaged
wxsvg-freeworld (bug 49). However, because ffmpeg's snapshot is more recent
than dvdstyler and wxsvg-1.0b11, there are a few compile errors:
mediatrc_ffmpeg.cpp: In member function 'virtual bool
wxFfmpegMediaTranscoder::Run(bool&)':
mediatrc_ffmpeg.cpp:961: error: invalid conversion from 'const AVCodecTag*
const*' to 'const AVCodecTag**'
mediatrc_ffmpeg.cpp:961: error: initializing argument 1 of 'CodecID
av_codec_get_id(const AVCodecTag**, unsigned int)'

Do we really need this package ?
This was probably a good replacement for mpg123 when a actively
maintained. But last release was in 2002.
That doesn't mean it is unmaintained by itself. But at least
Obsoleting newer mpg123 seems be uneeded.
(the alternative %post command would make the work).
On the other side, sox (in Fedora) will need to use a "play" and
"record" symlinks for the next version
see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=226425
And if my patches get merged, maybe we can have libtool-ltdl support
for dlopening module (that can enhance mp3 and even amr support within
sox). Thoses modules could land in RPMFusion then.
So i wonder who pick the mpg3-cmdline symlinks alternative command
line ? And maybe we can choose play and record instead ?
(this will probably need to be discussed in the fedora-devel ml )
