Qtractor has since been reviewed and accepted into Fedora main repositories with MP3 support disabled. Thanks to Oracan Ogetbil, we now have a patch which provides dynamic MP3 libmad support. This package provides a shared library to utilize libmad if present. Why it's not in Fedora: Emulators of video game systems seem to have legal problems, which is not a new story for such applications, thus this excluded from the fedora repos. I left a bunch of comments in the SPEC file for easer review. As well, no source code changes should be required between distribution versions (e.g. f15 and f16), thus the source rpm should be quite agnostic. Although, it does need to be build every major change in dependency versions (e.g. SDL 1.2.X to 1.3.X or glew 1.6.X to 1.7.X), which should only happen every distribution upgrade anyway. This package is already posted in the Wishlist by the way, and is licensed as FOSS (GPL2). This is my first RPM Fusion package and I would assume I would want a sponsor? Though I'm not sure what that is to be honest.
