# A short description for the package.
mplayer2 is an advanced general-purpose video player. A fork of the original
MPlayer project, it contains significant further development and supports a
number of features not available in other Unix players.
# Why this package is not eligible to be included in Fedora.
This package does not meet Fedora's strict license policy. This package
functionality is equivalent to the original Mplayer (mplayer v1).
# The output rpmlint gives on both the source and binary packages. Explain for
each message why you've chosen to ignore it.

# Mention if this is your first RPM Fusion package.
Yes, this is my first package submission.
# Mention that you are seeking a sponsor if you are not a Fedora sponsored
packager or an RPM Fusion sponsored packager.
Since I'm not sponsored packager, I need a sponsor.

SRPM URL:
http://spike.fedorapeople.org/HeeksCNC/HeeksCNC-0.18.0-0.1.20111215git272...
Description:
Written in C++, HeeksCNC is an add-on for HeeksCAD. The user can add machining
operations. These can then be output to NC code. The NC code is then shown as
red and green lines on the screen. The NC code is generated using Python
script, so it can be configured for different machines.
HeeksCNC uses OpenCAMLib for the "Zig Zag" operation HeeksCNC uses libarea for
the "Pocket" operation
Why this package is not eligible to be included in Fedora:
HeeksCNC depends on OCE (HeeksCNC->HeeksCAD-devel->OCE-devel), which is
considered non-free

The hardcoded-library-path error probably needs to be fixed. A friendly cmake
expert would be very much appreciated.

OpenSSL with Elliptic Curve
by Jeff Mendoza
Hi,
I have worked a bit on:
Request: OpenSSL with Elliptic Curve, IDEA, MDC-2, RC5 crypto algorithms
Summary: The OpenSSL toolkit provides support for secure communications between machines.
URL: http://www.openssl.org/
Why not in Fedora: Because of the problem with software patents: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=319901
Notes: OpenSSL is included in Fedora but with Elliptic Curve, IDEA, MDC-2, RC5 crypto algorithms disabled.
from the http://rpmfusion.org/Wishlist.
I have a building and working rpm, but I don't know what the name/version should be. Is there a standard for packages that replace one in Fedora? I thought of calling it openssl-ec, and having it conflict with openssl, but you can't use yum to replace it without removing openssl and all it's dependent packages. Using 'rpm -e --nodeps' and then installing the replacement works fine.
Another option would be to add something to the revision (.ec?). The problem there is anyone with rpm fusion will get it with their next 'yum update' even if they don't want it. Also, it could be overwritten by the regular openssl with the next fedora update.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jeff

RPM Fusion for Pidora (ARM6)
by Sergio Pascual
Hello, probably some of you are aware of Pidora [1], the Fedora Spin
optimized for the Raspberry Pi. In comparation with the previous Pi spin
from Seneca (which supported ARMv5), this one supports ARMv6.
I have tested my luck after installing Pidora by installing rpmfusion, but
it seems that there aren't packages for ARMv6 (there are for ARMv5).
Are there plans to rebuild the ARM pacjkages for the ARMv6 architecture?
Best regards, Sergio
