QWinFF is a cross-platform, easy-to-use media converter frontend to FFmpeg.
FFmpeg is a powerful command-line utility to convert audio and video file
into numerous formats. QWinFF features a rich set of presets to help users
use FFmpeg easily without having to manually input command-line flags.
Average users can convert multiple media files in just a few clicks,
while advanced users can still adjust conversion parameters in detail.

When installing chromium-libs-media-freeworld-59.0.xxxx, this doesn't check for
an available chromium-59.0.xxxx package.
Instead it uninstalls chromium-58.x.xxxx what definitely noone wants.

rfpkg build error and new cert error
by Nicolas Viéville
Hello,
While trying to "rfpkg build" the akmod-wl package, I get this error
message:
Deprecation warning: kojiconfig is deprecated. Instead, kojiprofile
should be used.
You might want to run rpmfusion-packager-setup to regenerate SSL
certificate. For more info see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Using_the_
Koji_build_system#Fedora_Account_System_.28FAS2.29_Setup
Could not execute build: Could not auth with koji. Login failed: [('SSL
routines', 'ssl3_read_bytes', 'sslv3 alert certificate expired')]
Then I moved my old certificate and tried rpmfusion-packager-setup and
get:
Setting up RPM Fusion packager environment
~/.rpmfusion.user already exists - skipping
You need a client certificate from the RPM Fusion Account System
Please download one from https://admin.rpmfusion.org/accounts/user/gence
rt
Save it to ~/.rpmfusion.cert and re-run this script
Then browsed to https://admin.rpmfusion.org/accounts/user/gencert,
logged in clicked the link "Generate a certificat" and wait for about 2
minutes and get:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.
Please contact the server administrator,
root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred,
and anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.
More information about this error may be available
in the server error log.
Is there something I missed?
Any help would be appreciate.

AppStream metadata and the wiki
by Daniel Rusek
Hello,
this mailing list post is a continuation of the discussion in: https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4703
There is now a wiki page with links to the AppStream metadata packages to allow regular users to install RPM Fusion packages via GUI, however there are still some issues:
1. The AppStream metadata download links on the wiki page (https://rpmfusion.org/Appstream-data) are direct links to the repository and are not automatically updated. If a new version is released for some of the AppStream packages, the old link does not work anymore. (Right now, download links for Fedora 26 and the non free download link for Rawhide returns 404.) I think a better approach would be to copy the AppStream metadata to another directory; they do not need to be the latest version because they are updated after being manually installed.
2. There is now only a brief "We have one wiki page dedicated only to appstream-data installation" text on the Configuration page (https://rpmfusion.org/Configuration), that is not a much helpful for regular users. I think there should be some more information about AppStream metadata directly on the Configuration page. For example something like "RPMFusion repositories also provide Appstream metadata to enable users to install packages using Gnome Software/KDE Discover. For more information and download links, click [[https://rpmfusion.org/Appstream-data|here]].".
It would be great if these issues could be resolved. I am personally not able to do this because I don't have an account on the wiki and I am getting an "Unknown action newaccount." error when trying to register one. Also, the Configuration page is protected.
Thanks.
Regards,
Daniel
