[Bug 4285] Review request: telegram-desktop - Telegram Desktop

--- Comment #18 from Nicolas Chauvet <kwizart(a)gmail.com> ---
Thx for your update on this review.
I don't get if this was talked previously but it seems very annoying to bundle
your own qt for such package. I don't see any link about which patches telegram
upstream has applied to the bundled qt version.
Can you look into it and document in the spec ?
(please only update the spec if it's the only change).

RPM Fusion is branched for f26
by Nicolas Chauvet
As the topic said, RPM Fusion is branched for f26.
You should be able to checkout a f26 branch from your module with
master pointing to f27 target.
Thanks for everyone who helped with the mass-rebuild.
There are still package FTBFS, but most have been done now.
It should be fine to report a bug for the remaining ones, so it can be
properly tracked.
The f26 repos are signed with the f26 key and the related
rpmfusion-*-release package have been made. If you are already on
rawhide, everything should upgrade to f27. but if you want to switch
to branch, you should probably verify to have the appropriate
rpmfusion-26*-release package manually.
Thx

Started work on rpmfusion version tonight, but then realized Leigh
already worked on it.
Assuming working OK, unless someone needs me to test.
Just wondered if not having identical n-v-r in rpmfusion is a problem ?
Also, in Fedora I've only just submitted to "updates-testing". It will
still be sometime before enough Karma or I push it.
Is there a site for RPM Fusion for submitting / controlling the updates
like in Fedora ?
Dave.

error: call of overloaded 'abs(unsigned int)' is ambiguous
by Martin Gansser
the build of vdr-mp3 fails during the fc26 mass build with this error: error: call of overloaded 'abs(unsigned int)' is ambiguous
build.log: http://koji.rpmfusion.org/kojifiles/work/tasks/811/90811/build.log
This is the part of the affected code:
bool cOutputOss::Reset(unsigned int sr)
{
if(fd>=0) {
CHECK(ioctl(fd,SNDCTL_DSP_SYNC,0));
int format=AFMT_S16_LE;
CHECK(ioctl(fd,SNDCTL_DSP_SETFMT,&format));
if(format==AFMT_S16_LE) {
int channels=2;
CHECK(ioctl(fd,SNDCTL_DSP_CHANNELS,&channels));
if(channels==2) {
int real=sr;
CHECK(ioctl(fd,SNDCTL_DSP_SPEED,&real));
d(printf("oss: DSP samplerate now %d\n",real))
if((unsigned int)abs(real-sr)<sr/50) {
outSr=sr;
d(printf("mp3-oss: DSP reset done\n"))
return true;
}
how can i fix this ?

Mass rebuild for f26 has started (late)
by Nicolas Chauvet
As you might see the mass rebuild has started for f26.
The reason it was late, despite my own time, is that I was waiting to
access aarch64 builders.
The builders are provided by Linaro and are now operating !
Also the ppc64/ppc64le builders are provided by OSUOSL.
A big thanks for both Linaro and OSUOSL to have provided us such builders.
So the mass rebuild will bring support for 3 more arches in RPM Fusion
(along with the promotion of theses arches in the main koji on the
fedora side). We now have ppc64, ppc64le and aarch64.
For heading the mass rebuild, I'm using the same script fedora rel-eng
uses adapted for rpmfusion.
It means the builds are sorted alphabetically and not by dependencies.
So the first pass expects packages having dependencies in RPM Fusion
to fail. They will have to be resubmitted later.
Some packages are already failing on x86_64, theses needs to be worked
on , but please let the first pass finished before to resubmit
packages that has any dependency on RPM Fusion.
It's also possible that the packages are failing for various reason.
In this case it's only a matter to have the job resubmitted. Please
ask the list on which particular case (Sergio or Leigh will be able to
resubmit).
It's possible to submit new packages update (without deps), I'm trying
to run the script only when the resources are available to avoid
flooding the infra.
I won't be much available next week (despite always connected on IRC),
so if unsure, please ask on the mailing list.
Thx
