qt5-qtwebengine-freeworld
by Sérgio Basto
Hi ,
Build of qt5-qtwebengine-freeworld failed with EXCEPTION:
[commandTimeoutExpired()] [1], when it was almost build after 48 hours
...
I notice that only in arm, the build took more than 24 hours in others
builders in less of 5 hours, package is done. May you sometimes not
build in arm builder ? (just one ideia) .
Best regards and happy new year.

ffmpeg-3.5 git rebuild for F28
by Leigh Scott
Hi,
I'm announcing my intention to update f28 ffmpeg to 3.5 git snapshot this weekend.
The new build drops support for ffserver and libavresample.
repoquery -q --whatrequires libavresample.so.3
ffmpeg-devel-0:3.4.1-4.fc28.i686
ffms2-0:2.23-5.fc28.i686
libopenshot-0:0.1.8-2.fc28.i686
libqtav-0:1.12.0-2.gitcbab79e.fc28.i686
ffms2 builds ok without libavresample
It would also be a good time to update x264 to 153, perhaps Sérgio could coordinate with me?

Introduction and looking for a sponsorship
by Robert-André Mauchin
Hello,
I'm Robert-André, I have been using Fedora and RPMFusion for several years and
I've started contributing as a packager for Fedora in August of last year.
Since then, I have packaged near 50 apps or libraries [1] and reviewed over
1,000 packages [2].
I intend to contribute to RPMFusion the same way, I'm looking to package qTox
which depends on FFMPEG, and help reviewing other package (like the Deepin
packages which are waiting, and which I already reviewed Fedora side). Thus I
applied to the Packager group and I'm looking for someone to sponsor me.
Looking forward to work with you,
Robert-André

Re: [mlt-freeworld] libquicktime is FTBFS with ffmpep-3.5
by Sérgio Basto
Hello ,
TBH I don't know if libquicktime is required for anything , or if we
already have a better replacement .
But if we still need it for something , maybe is a good time to update
it
But I found out that libquicktime, we have lots of new commits since
2012 (date of latest release ) , I used "git cvsimport" to exemplify it
better [1], and how I got it [2]

Update to VA-API 1.0.0 (libva-2.0.0 with SONAME bump)
by Nicolas Chauvet
Hi,
I plan to update libva to 2.0.0. It comes with a SONAME bump.
(and libva-egl and libva-tpi library removed, but it's not used anywhere)
Because of the SONAME, this is fedora 28 only material.
Here is the full list of dependencies to be rebuilt:
dnf repoquery --whatrequires libva.so.1\* --source
avidemux-2.7.0-3.fc27.src.rpm
cmrt-1.0.6-4.fc27.src.rpm
ffmpeg-3.3.5-4.fc27.src.rpm
freshplayerplugin-0.3.7-3.fc27.src.rpm
gstreamer1-vaapi-1.12.4-1.fc27.src.rpm
kodi-17.6-1.fc27.src.rpm
libmfx-1.21-3.fc27.src.rpm
libva-1.8.3-3.fc27.src.rpm
libva-intel-hybrid-driver-1.0.2-4.fc27.src.rpm
libva-utils-1.8.3-4.fc27.src.rpm
libvdpau-va-gl-0.4.2-6.fc27.src.rpm
mpv-0.27.0-1.fc27.src.rpm
mythtv-29.0-4.fc27.src.rpm
qmplay2-17.12.11-1.fc27.src.rpm
qtav-1.12.0-2.gitcbab79e.fc27.src.rpm
vdr-softhddevice-0.6.1-11.20151103git6dfa88a.fc27.src.rpm
vdr-softhddevice-openglosd-0.6.1-11.20160717git569fde5.fc27.src.rpm
vlc-3.0.0-0.44.git20171215rc2.fc27.src.rpm
weston-3.0.0-1.fc27.src.rpm
xine-lib-1.2.8-4.fc27.src.rpm
I plan to do the update later tonight (CET).
I might need provenpackager help for libmfx, cmrt,
libva-intel-hybrid-driver and weston from the fedora side. I will
handle "the others".
FYI, I've tested the rebuild using copr (kwizart/vaapi1).
Thx
