Error When Trying to Update Package
by Sean Callaway
Hello,
I'm trying to update my package but am getting the following error message:
"Could not generate update request: This system has bodhi v3, which is
unsupported."
I'm building from a Fedora 28 box that does not have any update pending, so
I'm not sure exactly how to proceed here. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Sean Callaway

[Bug 4826] New: Update build requirements and options for Mixxx 2.1
by RPM Fusion Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4826
Bug ID: 4826
Summary: Update build requirements and options for Mixxx 2.1
Product: Package Reviews
Version: Current
Hardware: x86_64
OS: GNU/Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P1
Component: Review Request
Assignee: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
Reporter: uklotz(a)mixxx.org
CC: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
namespace: free, nonfree
Pull Request:
https://github.com/rpmfusion/mixxx/pull/1
The individual commits in this branch can be viewed as a changelog:
- Update (remove/add) the build requirements for the upcoming release 2.1
- Modify the build options to result in an almost feature complete executable
and plugins with portable optimizations enabled
2 Remarks:
- I noticed that Mixxx is currently part of the free repository, although with
inclusion of the FAAD2 plugin it should actually be placed in the nonfree
repository?
- We already pulled the included patch into our current 2.1 release branch.
This can be removed when upgrading to the latest snapshot.

[Bug 4535] New: Review request: kodi-visualization-spectrum -
Spectrum visualizer for Kodi
by RPM Fusion Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4535
Bug ID: 4535
Summary: Review request: kodi-visualization-spectrum - Spectrum
visualizer for Kodi
Product: Package Reviews
Version: Current
Hardware: x86_64
OS: GNU/Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P1
Component: Review Request
Assignee: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
Reporter: development-K9RvgheM1OmXW9pm(a)dcrdev.com
CC: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
Hello,
I'd like to submit a package for the inputstream.adaptive Kodi plugin, to be
reviewed.
The spec, debuginfo and source rpm can be found here:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dcrdev/rpm-kodi-visualization-spectrum/...
https://github.com/dcrdev/rpm-kodi-visualization-spectrum/releases/downlo...
https://github.com/dcrdev/rpm-kodi-visualization-spectrum/releases/downlo...
A short description for the package (usually, the %description from the spec
file):
An OpenGL Spectrum visualizer for Kodi - this is the default visualization for
Kodi on other platforms i.e. Ubuntu, Windows etc...
Why this package is not eligible to be included in Fedora.
This is an extension of Kodi and therefore for the same reasons as Kodi this
package is not eligible to be included in Fedora.
The output rpmlint gives on both the source and binary packages. Explain for
each message why you've chosen to ignore it.
1 Error in opengl_spectrum.cpp - this is relation to the wrong address being
used on the license upstream. I will file a bug upstream.
Mention if this is your first RPM Fusion package.
I have another package awaiting review, I have never previously had a package
approved.
Mention that you are seeking a sponsor if you are not a Fedora sponsored
packager or an RPM Fusion sponsored packager.
I am not a sponsored packager, so yes I am seeking a sponsor.
Thanks

This package can most probably go into Fedora now.

Dominik

I don't do pkgdb requests all the time and I missed the namespace too on my
last one. Perhaps it should be blank instead of showing "rpm" and require
an entry of "free" or "nonfree" before allowing the request to continue.
