Seeking nvidia legacy maintainers for 390xx/340xx series
by Nicolas Chauvet
Hi,
Just to inform that with the 396+ nvidia release, the support for
fermi GPU will be dropped.
If you have such GPU, the current workaround will be to use the 340xx
serie or to switch to nouveau.
NVIDIA plans to maintain the 390xx serie for few time, so this can be
added as a new package.
I've started to work on the packaging (1) , but it requires more time
and work that Leigh or me can offer (for free).
So anyone to volunteer to maintain the 390xx driver (same for 340xx serie).
Thx in advance.
(btw, we plan to move to 396+ to stable in the coming days).

Koji build workaround (rfpkg update needed)
by Nicolas Chauvet
There were several issues today that prevented to use the koji infra.
I've fixed some of them.
One of the last regression seems to have appeared more recently.
As the buildFromSCM tasks started to fail later tonight.
It seems that pkgs.rpmfusion.org doesn't serve git:// protocol anymore
for some unknown reason. (probably related to any update).
But more importantly the fedpkg tool doesn't use git:// anymore for
anonymous access but https instead.
I've managed to workaround the issue using this in /etc/rpkg/rfpkg.conf
anongiturl = git+https://pkgs.rpmfusion.org/git/%(module)s.git
Please look forward a new version of rfpkg that fix this issue.
