Hi Antonio,
Thx for looking into that.
However I'm not sure that's that easy to do the switch and see if
anything breaks.
There is a need to dive into upstream source code, and actually move
the python2->python3 code or ask upstream to do so if one cannot help.
Seems like previous attempt tried to do the switch in a "discovery
way" and we later needed to revert back to plain python2,
unfortunately.

[HEADS-UP] dav1d and aom SONAME bump

Hello,
Next week I will update dav1d to version 0.4.0 which includes a SONAME bump,
and will do a GIT snapshot of aom, whose library is unstable.
I will push these updates both on F31 and F30, so consumers of these libraries
(ffmpeg, xine-lib, vlc) will need to rebuild their packages on both release.

EL8 targets with modules fixed

Hi there,
Previously, the el8-free and el8-nonfree targets were failing as soon
as a module was involved in the dependencies. This is know a
fixed(/patched) upstream repos as described in
http://smoogespace.blogspot.com/2019/06/epel-8.html
It's now possible to use package that would appears in modules.
We still depends on having an initial epel8 repos for many of our packages.
But it should already be possible to build more packages from our repos.
I would like someone to volunteer to look at which packages we need to
branch by default (for multimedia related packages). And start
building the rpmfusion counterpart package (at the right version where
appropriate). He/She will have the appropriate rights as needed
(provenpackager, scm admin).
