I'm sorry, but I won't give up providing /usr/bin/melt,
because especially
on RHEL/CentOS, often only EPEL is used and no RPM Fusion at all. And RPM
Fusion does not cover EL-4, just EL-5+.
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Alternatives is the only acceptable
way/solution to me. Either you agree about alternatives or things will stay
from my side further on as they are now.
ALternavites is only useful for two files which have the functions.
Is their any packages require melt? I think just providing freeze is enough
because melt is just a symlink.
