Avidemux 2.5.4 for F15/devel

I'm working on getting a good build for F15/rawhide. I've made quite a bit of progress but not quite there. I've added 3 patches to: - Fix gcc 4.6 errors[1] - Fix a possible crash[2] - Fix x264 compile issues. I found a Gentoo patch[3] and fixed it up as at first it would not apply. Still got a few more "taking address of a temporary" errors. Hopefully the avidemux developer will create a patch for it soon. One thing the developer mentioned over at the avidemux forums was that the version of x264 was to old. The current version seems to be a git snapshot from July 2010. Is there a newer snapshot that's known to be good? I was active at my university LUG and Gaming Club (running the game servers on Slackware) and now I work for Red Hat since August 2007 in support. I have been building RPMs for myself on and off almost since I started at Red Hat and switched from Debian to Fedora. I built RPMs for Rivendell [1] which is a large radio automation suite and some recommended getting that into Fedora but at the time it seemed too daunting. Now I am getting into DJing and in particular using FOSS to do it. I have used Mixxx and xwax. I am becoming the co-maintainer of Mixxx in rpmfusion [2] and have just submitted my first package review request for Fedora for xwax. [3] I would like to make Fedora a good platform for digital DJing. Mixxx was affected by a portaudio bug that had been fixed in Ubuntu but not Fedora so I opened a bug [4] on that and got that fixed. I have created a mixxx on fedora page for the Mixxx wiki. [5] My FAS account is John2583 but you can find me on Freenode as JBstrikesagain (I think that username was too long for FAS). Hi, My name is Patrice Ferlet, aka Metal3d. I'm a Linux lover and Fedora fan since 2005. I use Linux since 1999 and I'm 30. I'm sysadmin, developper and I manage my own servers for my projects. I develop some tools (whichrocks, merisier, wikipdfizer...) in Python, C, Perl or PHP... I'm an old #fedora-fr member on irc (freenode) where we can see pingou or kwizart, or Remi :) I'm from France, Lyon, and I try to be sponsored for some package on fedora (but it takes a loooonnngg time).
