[Bug 3485] New: girl - GNOME Internet Radio Locator
by RPM Fusion Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3485
Bug #: 3485
Summary: girl - GNOME Internet Radio Locator
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Package Reviews
Version: Current
Platform: All
URL: http://girl.software/
OS/Version: GNU/Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: Review Request
AssignedTo: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
ReportedBy: oka(a)oka.no
CC: anto.trande(a)gmail.com,
rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
Spec URL: http://girl.software/girl.spec
SRPM URL: http://girl.software/girl-1.0.0-1.src.rpm
Description: I am the developer of the GNOME Internet Radio Locator, and would
like to see it included in RPMFusion since some of the included radio stations
depends on the MP3 codec. Girl is a GNOME Internet Radio Locator program that
allows the user to easily find and record live radio programs on radio
broadcasters on the Internet. Girl is developed on the GNOME platform and it
requires at least one audio player such as Totem to be installed for playback
and streamripper for recording. Enjoy Internet Radio.
I think that the rpmlint message below can safely be ignored, since
streamripper is "streamripper" according to "yum info streamripper".
oka@linux:~/rpmbuild/SRPMS$ rpmlint girl-1.0.0-1.src.rpm
girl.src: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US streamripper -> stream
ripper, stream-ripper, stripper
1 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 1 warnings
oka@linux:~/rpmbuild/RPMS/x86_64$ rpmlint girl-1.0.0-1.x86_64.rpm
1 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 0 warnings.
Antonio Trande wrote that he can review the package in RPMFusion
according to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1161834
Thanks in advance.

[Bug 3582] New: Review request: yle-dl - Command-line tool to download videos from Finnish broadcasting company
by RPM Fusion Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3582
Bug #: 3582
Summary: Review request: yle-dl - Command-line tool to download
videos from Finnish broadcasting company
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Package Reviews
Version: Current
Platform: All
OS/Version: GNU/Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: Review Request
AssignedTo: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
ReportedBy: ceuatjtm63(a)snkmail.com
CC: rpmfusion-package-review(a)rpmfusion.org
* Full URLs to the spec file and source rpm of the package:
https://www.patanen.com/rpmfusion/yle-dl.spec
https://www.patanen.com/rpmfusion/yle-dl-2.6.0-1.fc21.src.rpm
* A short description for the package
yle-dl is a command-line program for downloading media files
from the two video streaming services of the Finnish national
broadcasting company YLE: Yle Areena (http://areena.yle.fi/),
and Elävä Arkisto (http://yle.fi/aihe/elava-arkisto/) and
partial support for Yle Arkivet (http://svenska.yle.fi/arkivet).
The videos are saved in Flash video (FLV) format.
yle-dl is an extension of RTMPDump (http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/),
which is based on XBMC RTMP code used in RTMPDumper by team
boxee.
* Why this package is not eligible to be included in Fedora
Don't know. It's been included in rpmfusion but apparently abandoned by the
previous package maintainer. Last packaged version is from 8.8.2012, that's
three and half years ago. I'd be willing to maintain the package.
* The output rpmlint gives on both the source and binary packages. Explain for
each message why you've chosen to ignore it.
** rpmlint yle-dl-2.6.0-1.fc21.noarch.rpm
** rpmlint yle-dl-2.6.0-1.fc21.src.rpm
Both give same errors:
1)> yle-dl.src: W: spelling-error %description -l en_US boxee -> boxer, boxes,
boxen
2) > yle-dl.src: W: invalid-url Source0:
https://github.com/aajanki/yle-dl/archive/%{commit}/yle-dl-%{commit}.tar.gz
HTTP Error 400: Bad Request
> 1 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 2 warnings.
1: False positive, not a spelling error
2: rpmlint does not expand the macros, that's why it gets HTTP 400
* Mention if this is your first RPM Fusion package.
This is my first RPM Fusion package
* Mention that you are seeking a sponsor if you are not a Fedora sponsored
packager or an RPM Fusion sponsored packager.
I'm seeking a sponsor as I haven't done any packaging earlier.

Citation please.
As far as I am aware, there is no policy or guideline in fedora that
packages be rebuild for each release.

Fedora 21 EOL - CVS is closed!
by Nicolas Chauvet
Hello,
With Fedora 21 gone End Of Life on 1st December, I've made the very last
push for f21 earlier today.
Given that CVS is still pointing to F-21, there is no branch to push into
CVS anymore.
But since few months, the CVS content is synchronized to an internal git
preview infrastructure that is automatically forwarded to
github.com/rpmfusion
The current work-flow, until the new infra is setup will be to clone (or
fork) from github and push to your personal namespace or attach the patch
(in git am usable form) and block https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/3820.
We don't proceed github pull request, those aren't forwarded yet, so you
really need to block #3820 with a new bug (creating bugs in our bugzilla is
still cheap). I will have a short list of people able to forward content to
R/W internal git preview that is then forwarded to github as R/O.
I will probably update the wiki to reflect that until the new tools and
infra are available.
http://rpmfusion.org/Contributors
Current priority is:
1/ setup the new infra to push git content using rfpkg-free/rfpkg-nonfree.
(gitolite)
Recently has an issue with fasClient that should be fixed now. Need time to
work on it.
2/ Close the f23 repository for release and move to updates.
3/ Introduce new packages from the review queue. (so if you don't know how
to help, please have a look on the review request queue
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/2).
Thx
