Add DKMS support for nvidia packages.
by Leigh Scott
I would like to implement DKMS support for the nvidia driver.
Adding the support would add much to the work load and would offer users the choice of what they use.
The other benefit is I believe it will work better with offline updates as it builds during the transaction.

HEAD up about appdata files in RPM Fusion.
by Nicolas Chauvet
Few days ago, there is a fedora reminder about missing appdata support in.
Please try to get appdata support for RPM Fusion apps too.
At least it would be fine if someone would make a list of missing
support in RPM Fusion
And either report to the maintainer and/suggest an appdata files with
screenshoot if not already upstream.
Thx

I don't think Recommends: and the likes will fly on EL7. Do you have any
objection to keep that in a %if 0%{?fedora} conditional ?

If you feel you need your changes to be reviewed, please push a side
branch on github and do a koji scratch build.
I prefer that over pushing untested changes in our packages.

The problem with this modprobe nvidia method is that it's indeed blind.

Actually , it could be a better way to solve the problem, once it can
check which kmod(s) is(are) actually installed.
In the nvidia cases, there are now 3 kernel modules, so the loading

EL7 bootstrap status
by Xavier Bachelot
Hi,
Quick status on RPM Fusion for EL7...
The infra is ready and some packages have already been built :
https://koji.rpmfusion.org/mash/free/el7/x86_64/repoview/
https://koji.rpmfusion.org/mash/nonfree/el7/x86_64/repoview/
I've locally built a selection of packages :
* Free :

* Nonfree :
caja-dropbox
faac
gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree
pdflib-lite
snes9x
steam
tarsnap
unace
xv
Most of them succeed, and I'm going to make a real build for them soon.
Unfortunately, there is currently an issue with the EL7 buildroot.
Here's the list of failed build :

Please note I have requested the missing EL7 branches.
Feel free to take care of the packages you care about, especially if
they failed my local build. Request the missing EPEL 7 branches,
investigate the build failures, be nice to people around you, make the
world a better place, send me beer, all of this will help ;-)

Migrated Wiki + RPM Fusion installation Process
by Nicolas Chauvet
FYI, the wiki was migrated yesterday and it's now SSL enabled.
This is a good news since this was very important security concern for
some users.
Unfortunately it was not relevant to enable SSL directly on the old
virtual machine running the wiki. So the service was migrated to a new
guest behind a reverse proxy. All is ansible managed and with Selinux
in Enforcing.
Wiki now waits for Contributors content! Please consider having a
HowTo for your package.
There are area of improvements, as I've tried to make moinmoin to work
with OpenID so we can re-use our FAS (or even allow for the fedora
FAS). It would be a very good to have.
Right now the contribution process requires to create an account, but
one need the password to make any contribution.
One last issue related to security process is about how the RPM Fusion
installation process should work securely.
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3677
If you have any suggestion, please share.
Thx
